Pedagogy
I am under the impression that teaching is the highest form of art. It is an absolute honor and joy for me to walk you through the tools of how to practice and unearth your authentic expression through play, conceptualization, and experiential learning. I can adopt as lax or as strict of practice expectations as you set your preference, and I will always be honest with you about your progress as it pertains to your timeline and expectations.
My diverse background in voice, music, and movement allows me to support your study of various styles while building on your foundations in music and ergonomic literacy.
Each lesson includes a progression of warm-ups and exercises designed to expand tactile awareness and achieve a broader range of motion and sense of freedom. Through practice logs, we create weekly/biweekly practice routines to support your dynamic life context and goals. I utilize google drives, binders, flashcards, books, and whatever other tools we may find necessary to help you expand your understanding and grow your capacity for expression.
